Jordan Leopold (to CGY) for Lawrence Nycholat and a 2nd round pick and Ryan Wilson (prospect)

Considering the Flames picked up Nycholat from waivers this week and Darryl Sutter had this quote, “We were prepared to give up a draft pick to acquire a depth defenceman," I wouldn't expect Ryan Wilson to be the next coming of Scott Stevens. However a 2nd rounder for Leopold seems fair and it looks like a 2nd round pick gets you a top 6 forward (Vermette) or top 4 D (Leopold) so far.
